I decided to post this review under the 3 star column because I figured there were people like me out there who were more interested in the cons than the pros - not to mention, there are enough 5 star reviews.

For those who don't know; chemicals (such as formaldehyde) are used as a fabric preservative for all new fabrics including carpets, furniture, clothing, bolts of fabric, and linens. (think about that the next time you want to put a new set of sheets on the bed without washing them)

I recently bought one of those horse shoe neck pillows from Walmart. It too, had been preserved with chemicals. The odor one thing but the chemicals were so strong that holding it in the store caused my cuticles to dry out and crack before I got home. As soon as I walked in the door, I put some (laundry) detergent in the sink to wash the pillow. The chemicals were so strong, it took a few minutes to get water penetration to the material, but once I acheived that, I soaked the pillow for 30 minutes, rinsed it, and let it dry overnight. The next morning, all the preservatives were gone, and I had a fresh smelling pillow. =D

I purchased a case for my ebookwise 1150 about a yr and a half ago. It is called The Pouch and I got it at[...]. It costs about 30.00 and is made of neoprene and has a flap closure reenforced with plastic which extends the full length of the case to protect the screen from scratches. You tell them what you want it for and give them measurements and they make it to order. So, it will accomadate the K2 with the cover. Their case has a buckled strap which allows it be attached to belt or purse. Got mine within two wks. It fits my old ereader snugly with the case that came with it. I did give it only three stars because there is a small gap at either side of the flap at the top which may allow rain to get in. It would be nice if it had a strap or at least a handle as well. But these are only minor concerns. I would recommend this product highly to anyone looking for a sturdy case who would like to save some bucks.

This is a no-frills holder which provides very good protection for my kindle. I didn't want to spend a huge amount of money but I did want something with ample protection. This cover fills the bill. I'm not looking for something to impress, such as real leather. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Will give you some protection, but there are more exciting alternatives out there.

You may want to look around.
